SWEDA support the development and growth of Social Enterprises in Sandwell by providing tailored training and mentoring to groups or individuals.

SLT Swim Academy provides swimming lessons in Sandwell for all ages and abilities, whether non-swimmers, beginners, improvers or advanced.

We will deliver weekly sessions relating to a range of long-term health conditions with refreshments and activities included. We will bring external experts to talk to the local community to answer questions and help with concerns which may eliminate some "myths" that may have arisen about the during lockdown.

Our Talking Therapies Plus service aims to support underserved communities in Sandwell. Underserved communities may include: Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups; refugees and migrants; LGBTQ+ people; older adults; and men.

A welcoming 9 hole golf course for all abilities. Coaching is available for those new to golf and equipment can be hired. Some activities for young people can be free of any charge.

Open 365 days a year 24 hours a day. Woodland and parkland. Accessible paths. A play area. A great space to enjoy nature, a walk, meet friends have a picnic.

SLT is working in partnership with the council to fast track the building of a new centre providing the people of Wednesbury with a new swimming and leisure centre.

The Wednesbury Young Firefighters Association (YFA) is a uniformed non-profit youth group based at Wednesbury Community Fire Station. Our members are aged 11 to 16 and come from all over Wednesbury and the rest of Sandwell.

This gentle yoga class is perfect for those coming to yoga for the first time.

The session will encourage movement, strengthening of the body, and quietening of the mind. It includes seated and standing postures, breathing techniques and meditation.

£7 per class or £35 for six weeks. Cash and card welcomed on the door.

Using the chair we will modify traditional yoga poses to work on mobilising and strengthening the joints, followed by breathing and meditation practices.
