Nicholl Grange is a 14 bed registered care home for people with mental health problems. It provides 24-hour staffing to help residents live comfortable and fulfilling lives. The home consists of a 10 bedded main unit with 4 separate self contained flats next door and a large and pleasant shared garden area to the rear.

It is located near to the centre of West Bromwich with good public transport links and a variety of shops and amenities close by.

Nicholl Grange is a relaxed and friendly place to live – residents influence day to day matters such as menus, social activities, and so on. In the main building residents have individual furnished bedrooms with shared use of communal facilities. Residents are supported to develop their daily living skills, including catering and budgeting their finances

The 4 self contained flats next door allow for more independent living, with ongoing staff support as required. Residents in these flats budget and shop for their own food, and prepare it themselves.

Staff at the home ensure that the residents’ general medical and social care needs are monitored and attended to on an on-going basis.

Staff also have good links with the local community mental health teams and other relevant mental health professionals, ensuring that residents receive prompt professional input when circumstances require it. Like all care homes, Nicholl Grange is periodically inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
