Age UK Sandwell is a trusted independent charity operating under the well-regarded Age UK brand. Our services are designed to meet the specific needs of people aged 50+ living in Sandwell. We offer a comprehensive range of support, including information and advice, support for those affected by dementia, social groups, physical activities, and a wills and lasting powers of attorney service
Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers provide free, confidential, and independent information on a wide range of subjects including:
Welfare benefits
Consumer problems and rights
Housing options
Health
Care at home
Residential care
Family and personal matters
Accessing local services
We can also help complete forms (e.g. Blue Badge, Housing/Council Tax Support etc.), make telephone calls and write letters if needed. We also refer to other appropriate services for support.
The service can be accessed by Drop-in Sessions at Wesley Church, 291 High Street, West Bromwich B70 8ND on Mondays, 10 am to 1 pm; via telephone 0121 437 0479 or by email at info@ageuksandwell.org.uk.
Home visits may be available to those who qualify.
