The aim of local Healthwatch is to give local people and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality.
We collect people’s experiences of health and social care services and use that feedback to work with service commissioners and providers to look for ways to improve local services.
We provide information and sign post to local health and social care services.
Local Healthwatch organisations are a statutory service commissioned by local councils as part of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
