Kingfisher Buddies are here to help you and tour family before and after being diagnosed with dementia.

Kingfisher Buddies offers a service delivered by social enterprise Agewell and Dementia Pathfinders, which supports older people across Sandwell in the early stages of dementia and is funded by the Big lottery.

Seeking and receiving a diagnosis of dementia can be a frightening time for both the person themselves and their family.

Our aims are to:
Support you in seeking a diagnosis
Be there to provide the advice and support you need to take it all in
Guide you and your family through what can be done now to better prepare for the future
Encourage you and your carers to take part in enjoyable activities in the community
Help you make the most of your life after diagnosis
