This service provides access to a range of equipment on loan to individuals to improve and maintain independence for disabled, elderly and disadvantaged people.
The service is available to Sandwell residents. Assessments are open to people of any age and ability and the individual must be present for an assessment.. The types of equipment include the following:
Mobility aids - walking sticks, crutches and walking frames (not wheeled).
Dressing aids - sock and tight aids, shoe horns.
Kitchen aids - foam handled cutlery, easy grip scissors.
Household items - key turners and helping hands.
|Staff Qualifications||The Service meets Matrix accreditation and IS0 9001 Quality Standards. The Occupational Therapist is also qualified to appropriate British Association of Occupational Therapy standards.|
